Oak storage bench arrived when specified and I am very happy with it, it's well made and provides ample storage for hats and scarves within the bench. My item took some weeks to arrive which was understandable in the current pandemic but as soon as it was in stock, they arranged delivery. As we live on an Island, it can be problematic ordering goods to be delivered, but there was no fuss or bother whatsoever and the dining chairs came when they said they would. Looked at this item in High Street Store, it was priced muchhigher but the quality appeared the same, it is not quite so easy to check quality on the internet, but it all looks the same. The pricing is very good,service is great,Just maybe one slight flaw is that the build time stated is way off and i could see that people without a lot of hands on experience might get stuck. Update. Aside from the poor quality of the initial product what upset me the most was one of the representatives telling me that the issue was my fault and I should take responsibility for the product being ordered incorrectly. However until pine solutions start offering sensible time slots I will not be using their service again. !Shame as the sideboard I purchased is lovely, but will never use them again, My order had to be refunded so I cannot comment on the quality of the product. Friendly helpful staff. Just before the delivery date I was told the batch hadn't passed the QC checks and I would have to wait for another batch, ETA October. However, the bed unfortunately doesn't come in parts so a full bed would need to be delivered and I would take out the part I needed and someone would come collect the other parts including the damaged bit (perfect I thought, sounds simple enough) I wish. Was disappointed that I was left to unpack it myself and get rid of packaging myself especially when it said that it would be unpacked and the packaging would be taken away. I had to get a dressing table delivered to Portsmouth for onward transmission to Jersey using Profreight as your company doesn't ship here, I asked for extra wrapping on it as I had no way of checking if the product was in good order at its arrival in Portsmouth and no way of returning it and it certainly was well wrapped! There are 10 customers that The Cotswold Company, rating them as bad. all our other products come within the time limit and was very pleased with them, I spoke to a very helpful man on the phone who took my order, paperwork came straight away by email as did the delivery dates with follow up telephone for eta.for the goods, first class as it saves you waiting about all day.
